Social Causes - Street Play
Our students launched a social awareness campaign against Air Pollution by educating the residents of Ghatkopar regarding the ill effects of leaf burning and providing solutions. This included a street play, “Sunosuno” which was promoted by the Rotary Club (Ghatkopar)
Our fashion designing students also took part in the widely popular ‘Jhola Campaign’ and created jholas using old bed sheets that were distributed to people, encouraging them to use cloth bags instead of the polythene counterparts. A batch of around 50 school bags made with old denims was distributed to school children from a village near Palghar adopted by the Rotary Club.
As a culmination of all the hard work put in through the year, GSPS hosts a fashion show displaying classwork of students of Fashion Design Department. In 2017 Ms. Simran Ahuja, Miss India 2013 walked the ramp as our Show Stopper.
